Here at Lydy, we are committed to doing our part in creating a sustainable future. We believe that it is our responsibility to leave the world in a better state than we found it, and that starts with sustainability.

What Does Sustainability Mean?
Sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In other words, it’s about taking care of our planet so that future generations can enjoy it as well.

There are three pillars of sustainability: economic, social, and environmental.

Why is Sustainability Important?
Sustainability is important for many reasons. For one, it’s necessary for the survival of our planet. The Earth is facing many environmental challenges, and if we don’t take action now, the situation will only get worse. Climate change, pollution, and dwindling resources are just some of the issues we’re facing.

In addition to being necessary for the planet, sustainability is also good for business. More and more consumers are interested in buying from companies that have sustainable practices in place. They want to know that their purchase isn’t contributing to environmental destruction or social injustice. What is Lydy Doing to Become More Sustainable?
Lydy is committed to sustainable practices both inside and outside of our company and being transparent about it. We have implemented several initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and conserve resources. We’ve also made changes to create a more diverse and inclusive work environment. And we’re always looking for ways to improve!

Here are some of the things we’re doing:
Packaging
✓ Lydy will be changing the current packaging for the next order to ensure it is FSC certified and recyclable
✓ Use materials that are eco-friendly, sustainable and recyclable. We will continue to revise and adapt where possible
